Wisycom has expanded its wireless audio ecosystem with a new firmware update for its MPR60 Wideband IEM/IFB Receiver, alongside the launch of its MATF Wideband Antenna Matrix and PFL Portable RF over Fiber (RFoF) Box. The three technologies are aimed at large-scale wireless infrastructures across broadcast, live events, corporate production and RF-over-fibre applications.
The latest firmware update for the MPR60 introduces a three-channel IFB mode, enabling up to three IFB audio channels to be transmitted over a single 200kHz RF carrier. When paired with the Wisycom MTK982 transmitter, this allows up to 60 IFB audio channels within an 8MHz TV channel, or 45 channels within a 6MHz TV channel. The receiver maintains wideband coverage from 470-1,260MHz, and its newly confirmed IP65 rating extends its suitability to outdoor and mobile production environments. The new firmware – MPR60 v1.3.0, MTK982 v2.6.0 and Wisycom Manager 5.0.0 – is now available, alongside an optional multichannel IFB licence that allows three MTK982 transmitters to be replaced with a single unit, reducing rack space and associated RF hardware.
The MATF Wideband Antenna Matrix is designed for complex, multi-zone wireless infrastructures and RF-over-fibre deployments, supporting both coaxial and fibre inputs. It consolidates multiple rack-based components into a single unit capable of combining up to eight RF zones in diversity, with four coaxial outputs configurable as either four equal buffered outputs (8:1) or two equal buffered outputs (4:2). The matrix operates across 170-1,260MHz and includes an integrated frequency spectrum analyser, remote-controllable antenna modules and Ethernet-based system management. It is available in four configurations.
Wisycom has also begun shipping its PFL Portable RFoF Box, a rugged, quick-deploy unit aimed at broadcast, OB, location sound and live production environments. The box delivers diversity over fibre via a dual converter architecture, with Ethernet connectivity for remote control or Dante workflows and a Neutrik opticalCON DUO interface, and can run on mains or V-lock battery power. Each enclosure includes dual N-connectors, integrated power management with temperature-controlled cooling and protected I/O. The portable box comes in three versions – two for wireless microphone diversity pick-up and one for IEM/IFB applications – and can extend antenna placement from 100m to several kilometres, while also carrying additional signals over fibre, including Gigabit Ethernet, Dante, Shure ShowLink and Sound Devices NexLink return channel information.
René Moerch, group product director at Wisycom, said: “With the new MPR60 receiver, MATF antenna matrix and PFL Box, we’re giving our customers powerful new tools to manage increasingly complex RF environments. These solutions were engineered for the world’s most demanding productions where efficiency, flexibility and RF robustness are absolutely critical.”
All three products, presented at InfoComm 2026, are available through Wisycom’s global reseller network.
