Alfatron Electronics has unveiled the 3GSDI-HD, a compact SDI to HDMI converter intended for connection to monitors, displays and projectors without signal loss or latency, aimed at professional broadcast, AV and video production applications.
Designed to support high-speed signal transmission up to 2.970 Gbit/s, the ALF-3GSDI-HD supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p image resolutions and is built to the SMPTE 425M, 424M, 292M and 259M-C standards. Its compact form factor is intended for use in broadcast racks, live events, control rooms, AV integration and portable production systems, with an integrated SDI loop output enabling users to extend or distribute SDI signals to additional displays or equipment.
