Chief, a brand of Legrand | AV, has launched the TiLED Universal Trim Kits, a modular finish system for its TiLED Direct View LED (dvLED) mounting ecosystem, intended to give integrators a repeatable way to deliver a clean, architectural perimeter finish on video wall installations. The kits are aimed at closing a gap Chief says integrators face at project close-out, where custom millwork adds cost and lead time and field-cut trim introduces jobsite risk.
The system comprises side and top/bottom panels, seam covers and corner components that enclose exposed cabinet edges and conceal cabling around dvLED video walls. Trim installs as a final step after the display is up, and is available as individual components or pre-configured kits sized for common 27in configurations (4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 8×4 and 8×8). Vented top and bottom trim profiles are intended to promote passive cooling airflow to help protect display performance and longevity.
TiLED Universal Trim Kits are compatible with TiLED Universal mounts, legacy TiLED mounts and TiLED Off-the-Wall mounting systems (adapter required), as well as third-party and OEM mounts with a video wall depth of 3 to 5.25in (76.2 to 133.35mm). Chief said the kits are aimed at design-forward commercial environments including corporate lobbies, higher education campuses, control rooms, retail stores, hospitality spaces and government facilities.

Integrators shouldn’t have to choose between a polished result and a predictable timeline. TiLED Universal Trim Kits give them both.”
