Visionary has appointed Sidalia “Sandy” Sousa as sales support manager, supporting the manufacturer’s sales operations, dealer network and integration partners.
In her new role, Sousa will manage order processing, logistics and day-to-day sales operations as demand increases for the company’s AVoIP and IPTV systems. She joins Visionary following more than 28 years at Crestron Electronics, where she most recently served as senior manager of sales administration for the manufacturer’s audiovisual and shading business.
Sousa joined Crestron in 1997, overseeing sales administration across audiovisual, video conferencing and lighting control product lines. Her prior experience also includes 13 years in senior sales support at Bell Container Corp.
Scott Freshman, chief operating officer at Visionary, said: “Sandy spent nearly three decades at a well-recognised brand, ensuring dealers and integrators had what they needed, when they needed it. She understands how the channel works and how to keep projects moving, and that experience will be a tremendous asset to our partners. We’re pleased to welcome her to the team.”
