The PPDS Philips Unite LED 6000 Series All In One display has been installed at the Leer Municipal government offices in Germany, based in the town’s Rathaus, where the mayor and administration oversee local decisions and civic matters. The wider installation includes an AVer PTZ camera, two Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium microphones, a conferencing PC and Dante audio technology for signal transmission.
Working with local integrator LS IT & Media, Leer Municipal set out to modernise its central meeting room as part of a wider focus on operational performance and workplace efficiency, with the aim of improving presentations, council work and hybrid meetings.
Following site visits, the 135in display was selected in part for its image quality, reliability and energy efficiency. It features full HD resolution, 900 cd/sqm brightness and a 1.5mm pixel pitch. It also includes an integrated media player, connectivity via HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C and audio, and a wall mounting system. In standby mode, the display consumes 0.5 watts.
The system has enabled clearer visibility for meeting participants, hybrid meeting support, voice capture without table microphones, and additional functionality including recording and transcription via tools such as tucan.ai.
