PPDS, the global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has extended its ongoing collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing by installing two fully tailored outdoor dvLED display totems – self‑standing, weather‑proof LED columns designed for high visual impact – at the Formula One team’s Technology Campus, in Milton Keynes, UK. The totems, based on the Philips Public LED 7000 Series, are housed in custom‑designed 3m‑high weather‑resistant cabinets to guide staff and visitors across the 700,000sqft site.
Security access and high‑brightness performance were key selection criteria, as the displays are placed after the vehicle security barrier and at the main entrance to the MK‑7 venue. Given Milton Keynes averages over 730mm of rain annually, the cabinets were designed with an IP30 rating and conformal coating to protect against moisture and pollutants.
PPDS says the Philips Public LED 7000 Series also offers dynamic power‑savings, advanced colour and contrast and active health monitoring – attributes that support both performance and sustainability ambitions. Content is managed via Novastar controllers and DS Templates CMS, allowing bespoke messaging for events and guests.
Jae O Choi Park, EMEA commercial head at PPDS, said: “Drawing upon our network of PPDS partners allows us to augment our Philips Professional Displays with unique solutions for Oracle Red Bull Racing.”
Laurent Mekies, CEO and team principal at Oracle Red Bull Racing, added: “In the high‑stakes world of Formula One, following along isn’t an option. From precision displays trackside and bold branding in our hospitality areas, to the stunning LED arc and expansive screen network at the Red Bull Technology Campus, our Philips Professional Displays are uniquely configured to continue the magic of the race and showcase the best for Oracle Red Bull Racing.”
