PPDS has supplied a Philips Unite LED 6000 Series All In One display for a meeting room upgrade at Leer Municipal’s Rathaus in north-west Germany, providing a new visual collaboration platform for council sessions and hybrid meetings.
The 135in direct view LED display was installed as part of a wider AV upgrade delivered by LS IT & Media. The solution combines the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series with an AVer PTZ camera, two Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium microphones, a conferencing PC and Dante audio technology.
PPDS says the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series is designed for simplified installation and features a full HD resolution, 900cd/sqm brightness and a 1.5mm pixel pitch. The display also includes an integrated media player and connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C and audio interfaces.
The installation is designed to support council presentations, hybrid meetings and collaboration, while enabling recording and AI-powered transcription through tucan.ai. PPDS says the display also consumes 0.5W in standby mode to help reduce energy consumption.
Eckhard Groen, member of the management team at LS IT & Media, said: “With the Philips 135in Unite LED wall as the visual centrepiece, a modern, high performance meeting room was created that sets new standards for the Leer Municipal committee work.
“The high quality image quality of the Philips Unite LED All In One, combined with professional audio and video technology, enables efficient, transparent, and contemporary council work.”
