New 46in displays have been added to NEC Display Solutions Europe’s X Series. The MultiSync X463UN has a reduced bezel width of just 5.9mm, for more seamless video walls, plus direct LED backlight for uniformity. A programmable ambient light sensor controls the entire wall, adjusting brightness automatically as light conditions change, reducing power consumption.
NEC’s heat management system enables users to monitor and control heat in the display, for extra reliability and longevity, and it can house single board computers and other option slot products.
The MultiSync X462HB LCD public display has a maximum brightness of 1500cd/m2 to offer easy readability in sunlight, with a special quarter-lambda polarising filter, so that people wearing polarised glasses can view any content whether the display is in portrait or landscape.
Like the X551UN, they offer colour calibration, OSD rotation for portrait mode, a full range of inputs including DisplayPort and DVI loop through, network connectivity and TileMatrix technology for video walls up to 100 displays.
