Logitech has appointed Midwich as an official distributor for its video conferencing solutions in the UK and Ireland, expanding local access to its meeting room and collaboration technologies.
The agreement brings together Logitech, a global manufacturer of video collaboration hardware, and Midwich, a UK-headquartered AV distributor specialising in unified communications and collaboration, pro AV and commercial technologies.
Through the partnership, Midwich will supply Logitech’s video conferencing portfolio to its network of integrators and resellers, supported by pre- and post-sales services and local technical expertise. The arrangement is intended to simplify procurement and deployment of scalable UC&C systems for organisations across the region.
Logitech’s video conferencing solutions are designed to support meeting spaces of different sizes and are compatible with major cloud platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, according to the company.
While the two companies already work together in the US, the UK and Ireland agreement focuses on regional market requirements, with an emphasis on local support and channel enablement.
Lee Harris, commercial director at Midwich, said: “Demand for consistent and reliable meeting room experiences continues to grow. Working with Logitech allows us to broaden the range of UC solutions available to our partners, with products that are designed to be straightforward to deploy, manage and support.”
Eamon O’Doherty, EU B2B head of channel at Logitech, added: “Extending our relationship with Midwich into the UK and Ireland builds on an established partnership. Midwich’s AV expertise and channel reach are designed to help us address increasing demand for flexible video collaboration solutions in the region.”
Logitech’s full range of video conferencing products is available immediately through Midwich in the UK and Ireland.
