PlexusAV adds UK, Ireland and Nordics sales manager

Scott Pollard brings more than 25 years of AV industry experience to the role, having previously worked with PlexusAV products through UK distributor Onemedia

PlexusAV, the professional AV division of Sencore, has appointed Scott Pollard as regional sales manager for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Pollard began his career in electrical and electronic engineering before moving into the AV industry around 25 years ago, starting in systems integration and customer installations before moving into technical distribution and commercial roles spanning system design, demonstrations, training and sales.

In his new role, Pollard will support end users, consultants, integrators and distribution partners across the region, covering customer training, project workshops, proof-of-concept development and system design support.

Steven Cogels, global director of business development at PlexusAV, said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott to PlexusAV. He is exceptionally well respected in the industry and has already had excellent success in selling PlexusAV products within his previous role with Onemedia, our UK distributor. We could not have asked for a better-connected and committed individual to join our expanding team. As our product portfolio continues to grow and our commitment to IPMX and open standards accelerates, Scott’s expertise and relationships will be invaluable in strengthening our position across the region.”

Pollard said: “Having worked closely with the PlexusAV team and their solutions over the past two years through distribution projects, I’ve seen first-hand the quality, flexibility and innovation behind the technology. Representing a brand I genuinely believe in was a natural next step, and I’m looking forward to working with partners across the UK, Ireland and Nordics to help deliver open-standard AV solutions that give customers greater choice and flexibility.”
