Midwich Ignite, the corporate venture capital arm of Midwich Group, has announced an investment in Forte AI, an AI-powered automation platform aimed at pro audio production environments. Founded in 2024 and based in Turin, Italy, Forte AI is designed to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks within mixing and audio post production, with native support for Pro Tools and Logic Pro.
The platform spans two products: fMusic, which handles mix preparation and stem bouncing in music production, and fPost, which automates the import and preparation of AAF and PTX sessions for film, television and gaming post production. The platform runs on a proprietary on-device AI engine that analyses audio locally, keeping unreleased sessions private.

Engineers and studios are under constant pressure to deliver faster turnaround times while maintaining exceptional quality. Forte’s intelligent automation technology has the potential to significantly improve efficiency without disrupting the workflows that professionals already rely on.”

The investment will support Forte AI’s product development and its expansion from music production into audio post production. Forte AI is an Avid Technology Partner and its products have been available through Avid’s platforms since June 2025.
