Extron has introduced the DTP3 CrossPoint 42 USB, a compact 4×2 matrix switcher designed for UC collaboration environments combining USB switching and video matrix capabilities in a single unit.
The switcher features USB-C and HDMI inputs, HDMI outputs and a DTP3 output for extending video, audio, data and control signals up to 100m over shielded CAT 6A cable. Up to three 10Gbps USB hosts can be switched to share devices and connect to the unit’s four-port USB hub, which includes two USB 10Gbps and two USB 2 High-Speed connections. The switcher can also access remote USB devices connected to a DTP3 R 331 receiver, making room-installed cameras, microphones and peripherals available to any connected host.
Additional features include 100W USB-C charging, 4K scaling, audio de-embedding, seamless transition effects and logo keying.
