Extron and Audio-Technica have expanded their range of Microsoft Teams certified Design Solutions, adding Extron’s DTP3 CrossPoint matrix switchers and Audio-Technica’s ATND1061 beamforming ceiling array microphone to the certified portfolio.
The DTP3 CrossPoint 800 Series 4K/60 presentation matrix switchers join Extron’s existing SF 26CT and SF 3CT LP ceiling speakers in the certified range. Audio-Technica’s Engineered Sound Wireless system — available in boundary, desk stand, handheld and lavalier configurations — is also now included alongside the ATND1061.
The solutions are designed to support Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments in larger spaces, with the ATND1061 beamforming microphone intended to ensure consistent voice pickup across the room. The system incorporates Extron audio DSP and enterprise-level Dante routing, and integrates with Extron control system products.
Casey Hall, chief marketing officer at Extron, said: “These solutions offer outstanding voice intelligibility to users and installation flexibility to integrators.”
Matt Markgraf, global strategic partnerships and alliance manager at Audio-Technica, added: “We recognise that each collaboration space presents unique challenges. Together with Extron’s DTP3 CrossPoint, the ATND1061 and Engineered Sound Wireless systems aim to simplify deployment through flexibility, while offering secure, reliable, high-quality sound.”
Albert Kooiman, general manager, teams partner and customer enablement at Microsoft, commented: “By providing Certified for Microsoft Teams solutions, Extron and Audio-Technica support essential Teams AI features like high quality speaker attributed transcripts and meeting recaps, which benefit everyone.”
