Audient unveils ORIA Mini room correction hardware

Designed in partnership with audio software company Sonarworks, new device offers compact DSP-based calibration system for studios, with no reliance on software or plugins

British audio manufacturer Audient has launched ORIA Mini, a compact room correction system powered by the SoundID Reference calibration software suite from Sonarworks. The device is designed to deliver hardware-based acoustic calibration for producers, engineers and studio owners, without the need for software, plugins or additional CPU load.

ORIA Mini integrates between an existing audio interface and monitor speakers, applying room correction via onboard DSP. It supports up to 2.1 setups and allows users to store and switch between four unique calibration profiles. The unit includes TRS analogue and S/PDIF digital inputs, TRS outputs and a dedicated sub out, and supports up to 24bit/96kHz audio.

Audient says the system is aimed at users seeking a “set and forget” approach to acoustic correction, with a setup time of under 20 minutes. With 32-bit converters and a 127dB dynamic range, the unit is intended to deliver transparent monitoring while eliminating the need for software to run in the background.

“Every engineer knows the frustration of chasing mixes that don’t translate outside the studio,” said Andrew Allen, product & marketing director at Audient. “The truth is, your room is usually the problem and if you can’t trust what you’re hearing, you can’t trust your mix. ORIA Mini fixes that in minutes.”

Martins Polelis, CPO at Sonarworks, added: “At Sonarworks, our mission has always been to help creators hear every detail with confidence, no matter where they work. With ORIA Mini powered by SoundID Reference, that promise extends into a dedicated hardware solution — giving creators studio-accurate sound without CPU strain, latency, or workflow disruption.”

ORIA Mini is available in three configurations, including a full bundle with SoundID Reference software and measurement mic, an add-on kit for existing users, and a hardware-only option. The product is available globally from 30 September 2025.
