Audient has opened its first dedicated showroom in the United States, with a new facility located within the artist relations compound at CenterStaging, a rehearsal and production complex, based in Burbank, California, whose clients include the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards and the Coachella festival.
The acoustically treated space is designed to give engineers, producers and artists hands-on access to the company’s product range under real-world studio conditions. Visitors can work on the ASP4816-HE console, explore immersive audio workflows using the ORIA Atmos immersive audio interface and monitoring controller, and audition the company’s wider range of interfaces.
The facility is also intended to host exclusive workshops and provide on-site support from a dedicated Audient specialist, offering what the company says is personalised guidance tailored to individual creative and technical requirements.
The opening was made possible through Audient’s distribution partnership with Korg USA. The Burbank showroom joins two other demonstration spaces operated by the brand, one at Tileyard in London and another at Audient’s headquarters in Herriard, UK.
Tim Jones, US market representative for Audient, said: “Opening our own dedicated space in LA is a milestone for Audient here in the US. As a working engineer myself, I know how hard it can be to make decisions on pro audio gear without getting some quality hands-on time with it. I’m excited to connect directly with fellow creatives and help them discover how Audient can support their workflow.”
Joe Castronovo, president & CEO of Korg USA, added: “Our partnership with Audient has always been built on a shared belief in providing creators with tools that inspire and perform at the highest level. The opening of Audient’s first US showroom represents an important step in expanding that vision, giving artists, producers and engineers the opportunity to experience Audient’s products in a professional studio environment.”
