Crestron brings in former Canon man to spearhead growth plans in the Netherlands

Thom Goossens leaves Canon after 20 years to become regional sales manager for Crestron

Crestron, a world leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, has today (March 12th) announced the appointment of Thom Goossens as regional sales manager for Crestron in the Netherlands.

Thom has worked for the past 11 years at Canon, most recently as business development manager and has a lot of experience developing new opportunities in existing and new market areas.

His focus will be to help Crestron increase its market share in the Netherlands, with Crestron’s regional manager for the country, Daniel Kerkhof, siting his “wealth of experience” and “industry knowledge” in their decision to hand him the position.

“The Netherlands are a growing market for us and we are confident that Thom will help us in achieving our goals,” said Kerkhof.

Goossens added: “After experiencing the professionalism of Crestron as a partner and using Crestron products myself, the move seemed logical. I am very excited to be joining the team in the Netherlands and further expanding the market there.”
