Crestron to display ‘intelligent’ screens for modern workspaces

Manufacturer will showcase recently launched 80 Series Touch Screens, designed to provide consistent control and scheduling across commercial environments, at ISE 2026

Crestron Electronics has introduced the 80 Series Touch Screens, which are intelligent interfaces aimed at delivering intuitive room control, scheduling, and unified communications across offices, universities, and other commercial spaces. The new technology will be on display at ISE 2026.

Built on Crestron’s touch screen platform and the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), the new family offers enhanced processing, high-resolution displays, and enterprise-grade security.

The 80 Series is available in three form factors: compact 8in scheduling panels, larger wall-mounted control screens, and tabletop control devices. Scheduling panels include integrated light bars and support multiple services such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Zoom Rooms, SpaceTi, and Joan. Wall-mounted and tabletop models provide comprehensive room control, including environmental adjustments and in-room technology integration.

Joel Mulpeter, senior director of product marketing at Crestron, said: “Organisations are rethinking every space – from conference rooms and classrooms to open collaboration areas and huddle zones – and they need interfaces that adapt to each workflow while remaining easy to deploy and manage at scale. The 80 Series brings all of that together: a common platform for scheduling, control, and collaboration with the enterprise-grade security and manageability IT trusts, and the simple, consistent user experience people expect.”

Mulpeter added: “The 80 Series allows consultants, dealers, and integrators to standardise on a single family of touch screens that can be deployed everywhere, from the smallest focus room to the largest lecture hall, without compromising on design or capabilities. It simplifies design and deployment for our partners and delivers a familiar, intuitive experience for users no matter where they are on campus or across the enterprise.”

The devices support 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, and Microsoft Active Directory credential management. Power over Ethernet (PoE) simplifies installation, while an expanded accessory ecosystem allows flexible mounting for new builds and retrofits. Integration with Crestron’s XiO Cloud platform enables remote provisioning, monitoring, and management of global deployments, reducing service calls and downtime.

The 80 Series Touch Screens are expected to be available globally from Q2 2026.
