Crestron to display AI tool to streamline multi-camera systems

At ISE 2026, company will unveil AutoMeasure, a new feature in its Intelligent Video Room Designer tool that ensures accurate configuration of cameras and microphones

Crestron Electronics has introduced AutoMeasure, an AI-driven configuration feature aimed at speeding up the deployment of Automate VX multi-camera systems. Integrated into the Intelligent Video Room Designer tool, AutoMeasure uses computer vision and spatial analysis to detect device positions and automatically calculate optimal placement for cameras and microphones. It will be on display at ISE 2026.

The system captures X, Y, and Z coordinates and angles for all devices, feeding data directly into the configuration tool. Installers can also generate accuracy reports to verify system performance, while the reusable AutoMeasure kits are designed to support multiple installations. The company says the feature can cut manual setup time to as little as 15 minutes.

Joel Mulpeter, senior director of product marketing at Crestron, said: “AutoMeasure represents a new chapter in intelligent video deployment. By combining computer vision, AI, and automation, we are giving integrators a smarter, faster, and more accurate way to install Automate VX systems. The result is impressive outcomes for everyone in the meeting.”

The tool is intended to benefit both end users and integrators. For organisations, it promises consistent and reliable setups from the first day of deployment. For integrators, AutoMeasure is designed to increase efficiency, improve consistency across projects, and reduce the likelihood of service calls to correct misaligned systems.

“Integrators have been asking for tools that reduce friction and help them deliver better outcomes more efficiently,” added Mulpeter. “AutoMeasure is our answer. It not only simplifies the process but elevates the entire Automate VX experience for everyone involved.”

Crestron says AutoMeasure builds on its existing multi-camera capabilities, including dynamic speaker-based switching, by ensuring that system alignment and performance are optimised from the outset. The kits are expected to begin shipping next month, when the feature will become available as part of the Intelligent Video Room Designer.
