Nanolumens expands into video processing with launch of Aurora

Nanolumens will unveil Aurora, a purpose-built video processing platform that works exclusively with the company's own displays, at InfoComm 2025, in Florida

Nanolumens, a US-based LED design and manufacturing company, has announced that Aurora, its new high-performance video processing platform, will debut at InfoComm 2025. It represents Nanolumens’ expansion into video processing.

The company says Aurora has been purposefully engineered to work exclusively with Nanolumens displays, unlike traditional LED processors which are built for compatibility across a wide range of vendors.

Aurora boasts visual accuracy with 23-bit output and 12-bit input. Built on a modern, secure architecture, Aurora is designed to meet the needs of critical and high-impact environments. It is fully TAA compliant, making it a good fit for federal government facilities, control rooms, financial institutions, casinos, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, hospitality venues and corporate headquarters, Nanolumens says.

Aurora includes a display processing unit (DPU), which manages content delivery to the display, and a processor control unit (PCU), which coordinates multiple DPUs for larger or more complex installations.

Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer for Nanolumens, said: “We are thrilled to bring to market a processing solution that aligns perfectly with our display technology, removing uncertainty and delivering the performance, reliability and ease of integration our customers demand. Aurora is designed to bring tremendous value across all our key audiences.

“For channel partners, it enhances our full-system offering and helps secure more specified projects. AV consultants and engineers benefit from its reliable performance and easy system design. Designers gain a tool that supports impactful, creative visuals, while Aurora offers end users a more dependable system that meets their technical needs with less hassle.”

Visit Nanolumens in booth 3081 at InfoComm 2025 from June 11-13, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
