The Nanolumens has expanded compatibility between its Aurora video processing platform and its Engage Series surface-mounted device direct view LED display line, creating a unified display and processing solution designed to reduce integration complexity for AV integrators.
The Engage Series integration is the first phase of a broader rollout, with additional Nanolumens product lines expected to receive Aurora compatibility during 2026. The Aurora platform is already compatible with the company’s Engage Pro chip-on-board LED displays, allowing organisations to standardise on a single processing platform across both SMD and COB LED types.
Brice McPheeters, vice president of product and planning at Nanolumens, said: “Integrators are looking for ways to reduce complexity while maintaining performance. By offering both the display and processing platform, we can better support those needs.”
The TAA-compliant Aurora platform is designed to deliver 23-bit colour accuracy, motion handling and file-less content management. The Engage Series itself features a 16:9 cabinet format intended to align with standard Full HD and 4K content aspect ratios, reducing the need for custom scaling. Its ultra-slim cabinet profile is designed to meet ADA compliance requirements.
The combined solution is aimed at environments with security and access control requirements, including control rooms and network operations centres. The Engage Series remains compatible with third-party processing platforms including NovaStar and Megapixel VR.
