Clair Global Integration enters marine market

Florida-based team, led by VP of marine Mike Lacy (pictured left, with Jason Kram, operations and project manager), has already qualified as a local entertainment system supplier for shipbuilder Fincantieri

Clair Global Integration (CGI), the integration arm of Clair Global and a specialist in live sound and integration, and marine entertainment systems, has entered the marine market, bringing its experience in large-scale entertainment systems for the cruise industry. The Florida-based team is led by Mike Lacy, VP of marine, and Jason Kram, operations and project manager, with CGI continuing to hire globally.

CGI has qualified as a local entertainment system (LES) supplier and vendor for Fincantieri, a shipbuilding group with 18 shipyards across four continents. It has also been awarded the opportunity to take part in the revitalisation of Royal Caribbean’s Silversea luxury cruise ships. The release says “Silverseas”, which looks like a slip for Silversea, so I’ve used that spelling.

CGI is also drawing on staff in its European offices, so those locations can support marine customers locally. Kram said: “The Marine industry is very active in Europe, and thanks to Clair’s footprint, we have quickly become a primary integration partner within the Marine business on the continent.”

Lacy said: “When Clair approached me about forming a team for the Marine market of its integration business, I knew it would be a very good fit. Clair excels in the technical engineering disciplines required across several entertainment markets, and this is a very exciting opportunity.”
