A.C. Entertainment Technologies’ (AC-ET) Audio division has won the “2010 / 2011 Best UK Dealer” Award from loudspeaker manufacturer NEXO, in recognition of AC-ET’s outstanding sales performance and support over the last 12 months.
The award for A.C. Audio was presented at NEXO’s annual distributor dinner/awards evening, staged this year at the Marriot Hotel during the recent Prolight+Sound exhibition in Frankfurt. Attended by around 150 people, the awards honoured the best achieving dealers and distributors in key categories and sectors.
It is the first year that there has been an award recognising UK sales. The new category was created after a restructuring of the entire NEXO distribution setup in the UK 18 months ago, and follows the conclusion of the first full financial year of trading in this new operational model.
“We were one of the first companies appointed to take on NEXO in the UK, so naturally it’s really thrilling to win the Award,” said A.C. Audio sales manager Peter Butler. “It’s a premium brand combining great performance with a comprehensive product range, so we’ve had a lot of interest since we added it to our portfolio of leading audio brands.”
A.C. Audio has enjoyed particular success with NEXO’s Geo S line array speaker system and also NEXO’s PS series in the theatre and rental sectors. It is ideal for these disciplines, offering exceptionally good and dynamic sonic properties, solid reliability and attractive pricing.
