Toshiba Europe has unveiled its next generation TD-E2 Series of business displays with full HD resolution and 16/7 operation. The range consists of four models in sizes from 43in up to 65in, and is suited for retail, hospitality and corporate environments.
The displays are full HD backlit with high brightness panels to maximise content even in lighter conditions, and has a wide viewing angle of 178°.
The TD-E2 Series if designed for operation 16 hours a day and can be setup in both landscape and portrait orientations, and for larger videowalls, the displays can be tiled in up to 5 x 5 configurations.
The connectivity options for the user include an embedded USB player, and video, photos, and music can be shared from an external USB device or via the DVI-D input/output and two HDMI inputs.
If there are issues with the input signal, the failover capability intervenes to switch content to a nominated backup input to avoid any unwanted blank screens. For complete external control and manageability, each model comes equipped with an RS-232, LAN and IR port.
The four models are the TD-E432, TD-E502, TD-E552 and TD-E652, and will be available in the UK during Q4 of 2015.
