InfoComm adds extra date for AMX-sponsored network training

InfoComm International has announced a further Networking for the AV Industry Programme event in London in December.

Due to high demand, InfoComm International has announced a further Networking for the AV Industry Programme event in London, UK on 9-11 December 2014. AMX by Harman is the key sponsor of the three-day intensive course, which was fully subscribed when run in London earlier this month.

The programme aims to help end networking challenges and keep attendees’ skillsets up to date as more AV applications operate within enterprise IP networks.

Topics to be covered include:

• The capabilities and limitations of remote monitoring and management
• How to discover your customer’s security concerns for the AV system
• The differences between emerging technologies in streaming and conferencing
• Identifying trade-offs between quality and bandwidth

“As more audiovisual applications operate within enterprise based networks, the course aims to address all networking challenges and to keep skills sets of audiovisual professionals up to date,” said Chris Lavelle, regional director, UK & Ireland at InfoComm International.

AMX will continue to support the InfoComm Networking for the AV Industry Programme in 2015. Course locations along with dates for the UK and Continental Europe will be announced later in the year.

The training is worth 46.5 CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I RUs. There are also places available on the course in Leuven, Belgium on 27-29 October.

More details, plus registration can be found on the InfoComm website.
