Original Syndicate CEO and CTO to speak at InfoComm 2026

Talks with creative technology firm will highlight a growing shift within the AV industry: the convergence of live events, permanent installations and immersive experience design into a single, integrated discipline

Original Syndicate (OGS), the creative technology firm that designs, integrates, and operates communications infrastructure for some of the world’s most demanding organisations, has announced that CEO Ben Roth and CTO Marcus Bengtsson will speak at InfoComm 2026, exploring a growing shift within the AV industry: the convergence of live events, permanent installations and immersive experience design into a single, integrated discipline.

Bengtsson’s session, “Insights for Permanent Experiential AV Professionals from the Live Events Sector,” 1045-1145am, Tuesday, June 16, Room W228/W229, will focus on how practices from touring and broadcast – where reliability and performance are non-negotiable – are increasingly shaping expectations in corporate, education and experiential environments.

Roth’s session, “Designing Immersive Experiences,” 940-1010am, Wednesday, June 17, Booth C7872 (Vision Stage), will build on this, examining how advances in infrastructure and engineering are enabling more seamless, human-centric experiences – where technology fades into the background.

“Historically, these have been treated as separate worlds,” said Bengtsson. “But the challenges are now the same, delivering reliable, high-performance systems in environments where failure isn’t an option.”

Roth added: “The most successful immersive environments are the ones where the technology becomes invisible. That only happens when design and engineering are working as one.”

The sessions reflect OGS’s broader view that organisations are rethinking communications not as a series of tools, but as core infrastructure, particularly as hybrid working, live content and experiential environments continue to evolve.
