Pufferfish unveils PufferTouch 4 ahead of InfoComm debut

Next-generation platform introduces modular design, improved efficiency and enhanced visual performance

Pufferfish has unveiled PufferTouch 4 (PT4), the latest generation of its interactive spherical display platform, ahead of its first public appearance at InfoComm 2026 on the Barco booth (N7231).

Designed for use across museums, visitor attractions, corporate environments, education, science centres and brand activations, the new platform builds on the existing PufferTouch ecosystem with a redesigned architecture focused on scalability, serviceability and operational efficiency.

According to Pufferfish, PT4 delivers increased brightness, improved visual performance, reduced weight and quieter operation, while introducing a modular architecture designed to support future expansion and additional accessories. The platform also incorporates Texas Instruments’ latest 0.80in HEP chipset technology.

The company is also continuing its long-standing technology partnership with Barco, whose projection technology has been used across multiple generations of the PufferTouch platform. Pufferfish claims that the combination of Barco projection systems and the latest TI chipset technology has enabled improvements in brightness, efficiency and overall operational performance.

Alongside the announcement of PT4, Pufferfish confirmed ongoing support for the existing PufferTouch 3 platform, including warranty and service coverage, software updates and continued compatibility with the company’s PufferOS and PufferConsole software environment.
