Biamp has opened a new experience centre in Brisbane, Australia, coinciding with the company’s 50th anniversary and marking a significant expansion of its presence in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market. The two-level facility combines a fully operational office environment with dedicated demonstration spaces, allowing visitors to experience Biamp solutions in both everyday and controlled comparison scenarios.

The upper level functions as a working Biamp office incorporating sound masking, hot-desking with a Workplace booking dashboard, and two distinct collaboration environments – a bring-your-own-device space and a Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment – each demonstrating how organisations can tailor meeting experiences to different workflows.

The lower level is purpose-built for immersive demonstrations, featuring a comprehensive loudspeaker comparison area spanning compact distributed models through to premium high-performance systems. The space also showcases outdoor audio solutions from the Community product family and includes multiple conferencing environments for direct comparison of room configurations, from all-in-one bars to fully integrated large-room systems.

Rashid Skaf, president, CEO and co-chairman at Biamp, said: “The opening of our Brisbane Experience Centre reflects our strong commitment to the ANZ market and the customers we serve here. We are proud of the growth of our regional team, now more than 50 employees across two offices, and we will continue investing to support our partners and customers into the future.”

The Brisbane facility is also among the first globally to demonstrate the Biamp BMA 360D, a ceiling tile microphone and the first product to emerge from the company’s recent ClearOne asset acquisition.

Jacques Paterson, ANZ sales director at Biamp, added: “Australia presents unique environmental challenges – from extreme heat to torrential rain and coastal exposure – and our Community loudspeakers are designed to perform reliably in these conditions. This Experience Centre allows customers to hear that performance firsthand and understand how it translates into real-world applications.”
