Nanolumens will unveil the next generation of its Nixel Series flexible LED display platform – introducing a revised architecture designed to simplify installation and maintenance for fine-pixel-pitch applications – at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas this week.
Designed for architectural installations, transportation hubs, arenas and experiential environments, the Nixel Series supports both curved and flat display configurations through a unified modular architecture. The platform’s patented flexible LED technology enables concave and convex display designs without visible bezels or faceting, while a cabinet-less construction is designed to reduce mechanical complexity and improve deployment flexibility.
According to Nanolumens, the redesigned platform uses a common module structure across both flat and curved installations, allowing integrators to standardise deployment methods across different project types while simplifying specification and servicing.
Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer at Nanolumens, said: “Since its introduction nearly 20 years ago, Nixel Series has been the solution for countless uniquely shaped display installations, literally bending to the needs of complex architectural designs, and overcoming those challenges. The new generation builds on that vast experience and maximizes overall advancements in LED display technology over that time.
“It offers a more streamlined and adaptable platform that simplifies installation, improves serviceability and gives integrators greater flexibility in the field while maintaining the seamless curved visual performance the Nixel Series is known for.”
The indoor-focused range is available in pixel pitches from 0.9mm to 2.5mm, targeting applications with closer viewing distances. All models include Glue-On-Board (GOB) protection as standard, while new colour-coded cabling is designed to reduce installation complexity and improve service efficiency.
The updated series also expands compatibility with Nanolumens’ Aurora processing platform. The company says the integration allows users to standardise on a single processing environment across multiple display technologies while simplifying system design and deployment.
Nanolumens says the Aurora platform supports 23-bit colour processing, motion handling and file-less content management for applications requiring consistent visual performance.
