Biamp has announced that its Devio UCX 1000 conferencing bundle is now shipping and certified for Microsoft Teams. The bundle is designed as a complete room system and includes the Devio UCX 1000 UC compute platform, the Parlé VBC 2800 conferencing bar and the Apprimo Touch 10 UCX-T touch panel.
Aimed at huddle spaces and small to medium conference rooms, the system is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) and runs Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android with integrated digital signal processing. The Parlé VBC 2800 bar has a dual 4K camera system with AI auto-framing and a 27-microphone array with acoustic echo cancellation and noise reduction.
Room tuning and acoustic optimisation are managed automatically through Biamp Launch, with ongoing estate management supported via Biamp Workplace.
