ZetaDisplay is expanding its commercial presence in Spain and Portugal with the appointment of Álvaro Morales as country manager for Iberia. Morales, who previously worked at digital signage provider Scala, will lead business development across both markets, bringing industry experience and established relationships with retailers and brands.
The company identifies Iberia as an important growth market, citing an established digital signage sector and increasing interest in retail media. As retailers look to generate revenue from their physical store environments, in-store digital advertising networks are becoming an increasingly significant part of their commercial strategies.
ZetaDisplay offers a full-service approach combining hardware, software, installation, content management and managed services. Its proprietary Engage Suite software supports content delivery, audience analytics and retail media functions, providing the platform for retailers to develop and operate in-store media networks.
The expansion follows ZetaDisplay’s acquisition of retailmediatools earlier in 2026. Its retail media infrastructure-as-a-service platform adds campaign management and advertising technology to the company’s existing digital signage offering, connecting online advertising with in-store campaigns and giving retailers greater control over their media operations.
Daniel Nergård, CEO of ZetaDisplay, said: “Iberia is an important market for ZetaDisplay and a natural next step in our European growth strategy. Digital signage is already well established in the region, and we see significant potential to build on this foundation as retailers increasingly recognise the commercial opportunities of in-store retail media.”
