PlexusAV, the professional AV division of broadcast technology company Sencore, has appointed Seth Warner as US sales manager, based near Cleveland, Ohio.
Warner brings a decade of AV industry experience alongside a background in healthcare technology, having spent several years implementing electronic health record systems across hospitals – experience the company says gives him a strong understanding of complex, mission-critical environments. Prior to his AV career he served six years in the US Air Force and five years in law enforcement.
Steven Cogels, global director of business development at PlexusAV, said: “Seth brings a unique blend of experience across AV, healthcare technology and public service, alongside a relationship-led approach to sales that aligns perfectly with our values. His understanding of both the technical and human side of the industry makes him a fantastic addition to the team.”
Warner, US sales manager at PlexusAV, added: “What really stood out to me is the company’s commitment to open standards and interoperability. IPMX is about shifting mindsets toward open architecture and more flexible, scalable systems. For integrators, that means greater design freedom. For end users, it means less vendor lock-in. And for enterprise teams, it allows AV to operate more like IT, which is where the industry is heading.”
PlexusAV was established in 2023 as a division of Sencore, which has more than 70 years of broadcast technology experience. The company’s product range is built around the IPMX standard, developed by the AIMS Alliance to enable interoperable, standards-based AVoIP workflows.
