Pliant Technologies has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Adam Grede as regional sales manager, supporting sales activity across the West Coast and wider North American market.
Based in Southern California, Grede joins Pliant’s sales organisation and will work alongside regional sales manager Matthew Lott, who is based in the New York metropolitan area, and sales administrator Kathy Belcher at the company’s headquarters in Auburn, Alabama. The company says the structure is intended to provide consistent support across regions.
Grede brings close to 20 years of experience in the pro AV sector, with a background spanning national account sales, relationship management and collaboration across sales teams. Prior to joining Pliant, he spent four years as national sales manager at SKB Cases, overseeing nationwide sales initiatives across the AV, MI and touring markets. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years at Full Compass Systems, working within its national sales division.

Rosen added that growing demand for the company’s wireless intercom solutions was a key factor behind the appointment. “As our customer base continues to expand, Adam’s expertise will help ensure we maintain a high level of sales support across all regions,” he added.
In his new role, Grede will focus on developing relationships with customers and partners, supporting existing accounts and contributing to the company’s continued growth in the professional audio and communications market.
