INFiLED, a leading global manufacturer of high LED display solutions, has announced the expansion of its UK and Ireland team with the appointment of a new vice president of sales, Nick Shaw (pictured), and a sales manager Lee Holland.
Shaw and Holland will work closely to focus on key verticals and develop new relationships in the region, whilst looking forward to the opening of the UK office in 2025.
With over 20 years of AV industry experience, Nick Shaw, the newly appointed vice president of sales, previously held senior roles in sales, business development and operational delivery at companies including Roe Visual, Samsung, NEC and Prysm.
He said: “I was immediately attracted to INFiLED because of its business ethos, and the camaraderie I experienced throughout the interview process. It made the decision to run the UK business easy. Given my background in establishing and growing UK operations for similar companies, I am excited to drive our plans forward and set a clear strategy for growth in 2025 and beyond.”
In his new position, Shaw aims to build trust and solidify longer term relationships with INFiLED’s customer base, unify the UK team with the goals to get everyone working to maximum efficiency and focus on key verticals. He also welcomes the opportunity to explore new projects with the growing rental partner community and nurture the company’s reputation in the fixed install market.
He added: “It’s like running a startup within a larger organisation. We have the flexibility of a smaller business division but with the financial support and resources of a global company – an exciting combination that will help us succeed.”
As the sales manager for UK and Ireland, Lee Holland brings over 25 years of experience in the AV and IT sectors. After re-joining the AV industry in 2017, Holland has focused on business development and sales management, specialising in LED and display technology.
Holland said: “LED has been of great interest to me since coming back to the industry. I have a good understanding of the UK LED market, and I know what works and what doesn’t.”
Holland added that he is looking forward to expanding INFiLED’s fixed LED business in the region, getting the vertical up to similar strong market share that the company has with its rental, studio and broadcasting LED markets.
For Holland, another exciting opportunity is finding the right partners and system integrators to work with and setting a high bar with INFiLED’s products and services.
He added: “INFiLED has a great reputation for service and strong ethics on ensuring client satisfaction. From day one, I could see how well the business was being run with Marco Bruines at the helm, and having had a thorough induction, meetings with key personnel at our EMEA HQ, as well as seeing how everything works up close, I am excited for 2025 and beyond.”
