Visualization acquires TK-Team UK assets

UK technical solutions distributor Visualization becomes UK and Ireland distributor for TK-Team’s acoustic and visual presentation products

Visualization, the UK technical solutions distributor, has acquired the UK business assets of TK-Team UK. As a result, Visualization will become the UK and Ireland distributor for the Finnish acoustic and visual presentation specialist.

TK-Team’s portfolio includes acoustic products, writing and notice boards, projection surfaces, mobile walls and other collaborative workspace solutions, complementing Visualization’s existing display, projection, LED, signal management and technical services offering for corporate, higher education and public-sector environments.

As part of the acquisition, two members of the TK-Team UK team will transfer to Visualization under TUPE, while existing service delivery and installation arrangements will continue through TK-Team’s established specialist partners. From July 20, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries and invoicing for TK-Team products in the UK and Ireland will be managed through Visualization.

Nick Pidgeon, managing director at Visualization, said: “TK-Team is a natural addition to the Visualization portfolio. Its acoustic and visual presentation solutions sit alongside the technologies we already supply, enabling our partners to offer a more complete solution across workplace and learning environments. Our immediate priority is continuity for customers, supported by the combined expertise, infrastructure and capabilities of TK-Team and Visualization.”

James Bedford, managing director at TK-Team Ltd, added: “Visualization has the experience, customer relationships and infrastructure to support the continued development of TK-Team across the UK and Ireland. We’re pleased that customers will continue to benefit from familiar contacts and specialist product knowledge, backed by Visualization’s wider portfolio and technical capabilities.”

TK-Team was established in Finland in 1972 and manufactures from its factory in Estonia, operating across more than 20 countries.
