Atlona, a Panduit company, has promoted Paul Krizan to product line manager effective immediately. Reporting to Atlona executive director Jamey Swigert, Krizan is tasked with driving the innovation cycle for Atlona, leading the product management and hardware engineering teams.
He will also maintain and evolve the existing portfolio of Atlona collaboration, connectivity and control products worldwide.
Krizan joined Atlona as product manager, Networked AV, in 2020, where he was responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle for the company’s AV over IP solutions.
Atlona says his achievements include the development and launch of OmniStream 2.0, a free firmware upgrade.
Krizan said: “My main objective is to align all product development efforts with Atlona’s strategic initiatives. That means bringing new products and solutions to market to support integration and end user requirements in our core education and corporate verticals.
“Networked AV, USB-C transport and an evolving BYOD landscape remain important development areas from a technology standpoint. We will also continue to simplify our product designs in ways that make them easier to install and use.”
Jamey Swigert, executive director, Atlona, added: “Paul’s success over nearly five years leading our Networked AV product strategy made him the ideal candidate for this important leadership position that will ultimately guide the future success of Atlona’s product roadmap.
“His extensive industry experience and background in electrical engineering strengthen his ability to lead our teams through what we expect will be a dynamic future for AV and IT product development across the global commercial AV industry.”
