Absen appoints European industry development director

Hire of Graham Kirkpatrick strengthens LED manufacturer's focus on early-stage specification and consultant engagement across the European market

Absen has appointed Graham Kirkpatrick as industry development director for its European team, with a remit centred on early-stage specification and closer collaboration with the AV consultant community.

Kirkpatrick joins from Sharp Display Solutions, formerly NEC Display Solutions, where he spent the past decade building a reputation as a technical advocate and commercial adviser. In his new role he will work with AV consultants, architects and planners to support the delivery of visual solutions across European projects, while also assisting Absen’s regional teams and key partners.

Graham Kirkpatrick said: “After more than 20 years in the AV and wider technology sector, this role feels like an energising next chapter. Absen is operating in a dynamic and fast-moving part of the market, and I’m looking forward to contributing my experience, supporting colleagues across the region and helping drive success through closer collaboration with the consultant community.”

Emma Liu, regional president Europe at Absen, added: “Graham’s appointment is an important step in bolstering Absen’s consultant engagement strategy across Europe. He brings a rare blend of deep technical knowledge and commercial insight supported by a strong understanding of how projects are specified and delivered across Europe.”
