InfoComm América Latina 2026 attracted 5,904 verified attendees to the World Trade Center in Mexico City from October 21-23, a 13 per cent increase on its inaugural edition in 2025. Organised by AVIXA, the event also recorded a rise in international participation, from 6 per cent to 11 per cent, while end users accounted for 26 per cent of visitors.
The exhibition featured 82 exhibitors, 28 per cent more than in 2025, across 4,033sqm of net floor space – a 52 per cent increase. Technologies on show included LED displays, professional audio, conferencing and collaboration systems, digital signage, control and automation, and AI-powered solutions. Six immersive experiences demonstrated applications combining audio, video, lighting, content and automation, while nine Demo Rooms allowed visitors to compare professional audio systems in dedicated listening spaces.
Jenn Heinold, senior vice-president of expositions, Americas, at AVIXA, said: “I’m amazed by InfoComm América Latina 2026. What caught my attention the most was the genuine passion shown by the community.” She said returning visitors had seen the event grow, while newcomers gained access to technologies and contacts across the region’s audiovisual integration industry.
The education programme attracted 1,734 attendees, an 8.6 per cent increase on the previous year, with 90 international specialists delivering 61 sessions and five guided tours. New additions included the AI Summit + Lab, the HETMA Higher Education Summit and AVanza, focused on talent and professional development. For the first time, visitors could also take the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exam at the event, alongside a CTS Quick Prep course.
Ana Elisa Benavent, show director of InfoComm América Latina, said the event aimed to bring technology and training to professionals who might otherwise have to travel to Europe or the United States to access them. “Our goal is to bring that technology to the region and adapt distributors’ training, experiences, and offerings to the region’s reality and challenges,” she added.
The third edition will take place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from October 20-22, 2027. The exhibition floor is planned to be 20 per cent larger, with 83 per cent of the expanded space already reserved. The show will move to the venue’s ground-floor Maya halls, while the education programme and Demo Rooms will remain in their current locations. AVI-SPL was headline partner of the 2026 event, with Audio-Technica as gold partner and Absen Holding Mexico as silver partner.
