PlexusAV to unveil flagship uncompressed IPMX transceiver

P-AVN-6-S, a 25Gb uncompressed IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 transceiver with native 12G-SDI I/O, completes the Sencore division’s AVoIP portfolio and will be shown at at InfoComm 2026 this week

PlexusAV, the AVoIP division of broadcast technology company Sencore, will officially unveil its P-AVN-6-S transceiver at InfoComm 2026 this week – a high-performance uncompressed IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 device designed to bridge traditional SDI infrastructure and modern IP workflows across a single open-standard network.

The P-AVN-6-S delivers uncompressed video over IPMX and ST 2110-compliant networks up to 4K60 at approximately 18 Gbps throughput, with native 12G-SDI input and output, HDMI loop out, and dual SFP28 interfaces supporting 10GbE and 25GbE networks.

A key feature is integrated PTP-to-Genlock conversion, which synchronises SDI outputs to IP-based timing with ±12 pixel phase accuracy. ST 2022-7 hitless redundancy across independent primary and secondary network paths is also included, alongside Dante and AES67 audio transport supporting up to eight audio channels.

Steven Cogels, director of business development at PlexusAV, said: “IPMX changes the game, giving customers the freedom to build, scale and evolve their AV systems on their terms, without vendor lock-in. With the new uncompressed video transceiver showcasing at InfoComm, we’re bringing that same open, flexible approach to the highest-performance applications.”

Also on show will be the IPMX-certified P-AVN-4 transceiver family, the P-AVN-3-HDBT gateway, the P-AVN-WP301H wall plate, P-AVN-CL100 USB-C connectivity hub and new speaker models – with the P-AVN-2E encoder and P-AVN-2D decoder making their North American debut. PlexusAV will also participate in interoperability demonstrations with the AIMS Alliance at the IP Showcase, Booth W1355.

InfoComm 2026 runs June 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
