Utelogy has added support for Canon CR-N Series PTZ cameras to its workspace management platform, enabling organisations to control their camera environments remotely.

The integration, delivered through the Utelligence Partner Programme, covers Canon’s CR-N100, CR-N300, CR-N500 and CR-N700 models. The company says users can benefit from remote management capabilities designed to provide scalable control across meeting rooms, classrooms and training spaces.
The platform is designed to provide remote pan, tilt and zoom control, storing, recalling and clearing camera presets, remote power on/off functionality, auto-focus and sharpness adjustments, and real-time visibility into connection status and focus mode.
The company says the integration will reduce onsite support costs by enabling remote camera management without in-person adjustments, deliver consistent meeting experiences through preset positions, detect issues instantly through live camera status monitoring, and scale deployments across buildings or campuses from a single platform.
Utelogy says the system is also designed to improve visual quality through remote focus and sharpness adjustments, and automate camera behaviour by combining with U-Automate to schedule or trigger camera actions based on room events such as occupancy or system power-on.
Nicole Corbin, vice president of product at Utelogy, said: “Our integration with Canon highlights our drive to building intelligent, connected AV environments. It’s about giving IT and AV teams the tools to work smarter, not harder.”
Andreas Herrnboeck, ISB sales & alliances manager at Canon, added: “This collaboration reflects our commitment to support IT and AV teams to build powerful and flexible conferencing solutions by utilising Canon’s range of PTZ cameras which deliver exceptional image quality and precise control.”
