Tandberg 6000 MXP Profile systems are at the heart of the installations and are utilised by the organisation’s Central Works Council, management and other corporate services. A series of training courses for HVC staff has been undertaken to ensure that all users are comfortable with the equipment.
Debby Kappetijn, key account manager at Talk & Vision, told II: “HVC co-operates with various recycling companies spread over the Netherlands, and although Holland is a relatively small country, commuting takes a lot of time as the roads are crowded. This made HVC realise that all this travelling between remote locations resulted in a high number of unproductive hours [for] staff members.
“The videoconferencing rollout was finalised in April 2007 and now, a year later, HVC considers meetings to be more productive and efficient, and the members of staff are more frequently in contact with each other.”
