Istanbul-based Xperts-AV, a new pro-AV integrator and distribution business across Turkey and beyond, has teamed-up with video conferencing manufacturer, Boom Collaboration, to create a joint installation at IFOKS Teknoloji, an informatics company, in Ankara, Turkey.
Xperts-AV is spearheaded by CEO Cengizhan Besikci, a former London music director turned entrepreneur, who boasts almost 40 years industry expertise. He launched the company a few months ago, offering activities such as pro-sound systems, stage lighting, video projection, conferencing, automation systems, LED screens, and CCTV. Xperts-AV operates in Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast.
“In the 90s I used to work as a music director at a London club and the AV industry has been in my blood for almost four decades,” Besikci explained. “I founded the company at the start of this year and it’s going really well so far. We have a growing order book, lots of new clients and a new website. Working with Boom is a major step forward to accelerate our video conferencing proposition.”
Xperts-AV installed a series of Boom AURA intelligent videobars as part of the $10,000 office set-up. The AURA features 4K Ultra HD, 10x digital zoom and built-in AI functions that include highly responsive facial detection and sound source localisation providing intelligent auto-framing and voice-tracking. Six digital array mics with 6 metres of pickup range.
