The FOX 4G Matrix 320x modular fiber optic matrix switcher was one of several new items shown by the manufacturer at ISE.

Expandable from 16×16 to 320×320, the product provides complete, end-to-end digital A/V signal transmission and routing over fiber optic cable in very large environments such as university campuses and corporate facilities.

Supporting digital switching at rates up to 4.25 Gbps, the FOX 4G Matrix 320x also offers swappable I/O boards, real-time system monitoring, and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.

Compatible with FOX Series fiber optic digital transmitters and receivers, switchers, distribution amplifiers and matrix switchers, the FOX 4G Matrix 320x accepts and routes standard definition video, high-resolution computer video, DVI and multi-rate SDI. Twenty board slots are able to accept FOX 4G Matrix I/O Boards in multi-mode and single-mode versions, while integrator-friendly switcher features include I/O grouping, rooming and memory presets.
