Broadsign’s CMS and Ad Server are being used to manage content and advertising across 149 displays in 23 Cotswold Outdoor Group stores, with integrator IUF providing deployment and ongoing support.
The network includes till, shelf, totem, large-format and front-of-store displays. It is designed to allow Cotswold Outdoor to centrally manage content, monitor network health and monetise its growing estate of in-store screens.
Through Broadsign’s omnichannel integration, the deployment connects with Cotswold Outdoor Group’s Zitcha retail media platform. This is designed to let brands and agencies extend campaigns running across the retailer’s online and offsite channels into its physical stores.
Early campaigns have included HOKA, ASICS and Nike. Cotswold Outdoor Group says a recent HOKA campaign combining onsite and in-store media delivered a 13 per cent increase in units sold per store.
The network is designed to allow additional screens and future programmatic trading capabilities to be added as the retailer expands its media operation. The project moved from tender to a live, revenue-generating network within 12 weeks, according to IUF.
Mary Antieul, head of commercial at Cotswold Outdoor Group, said: “At Cotswold Outdoor Group, we’re passionate about helping people get closer to the outdoors – and that starts with creating inspiring moments.
“This collaboration with Broadsign and IUF offers a powerful new way to connect with our customers in-store, alongside our onsite and offsite media channels. It means we can bring the right messages to shoppers at the right moment, with less friction for brands and a more connected experience for customers.”
Frank Vallenga, vice president, platform sales, EMEA and SEA at Broadsign, added: “Together, we’ve designed a network that makes it easy for its team to add, manage, control, and monetise new screens and integrate programmatic trading capabilities down the line.”
Josh Bunce, IUF CEO, added: “Together we were able to deliver a cohesive customer journey so that Cotswold Outdoor Group can maximise its in-store retail proposition today but also ensure that it can scale easily into the future.”
