Shure Distribution UK is bringing the Audio Insight Events (AIE) – a series of professional audio seminars – to the north and west of England and Scotland during June. This follows the success of the AIE held at the company’s UK headquarters in March, and numerous customer requests.

Venues are as follows:
Tuesday 22 June: Leeds United FC
Monday 28 June: Hampden Park – Scotland’s national stadium
Wednesday 30 June: Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol

The Audio Insight Events will give those involved in professional audio an exclusive insight into new products, supported by leading experts delivering seminars on new technologies and current industry issues.

Delegates will be able to preview technology ahead of its release in the UK – including Shure’s Axient Wireless System – the first wireless solution that can detect RF interference and avoid it automatically; Shure’s new PSM 1000 networkable personal monitoring system; and QSC’s KLA active line array.

Seminars will include topics such as Channel 38/2012 digital switchover issues, the future of wireless technology and the technology behind the QSC K loudspeaker family. Experts from all fields of audio will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice on anything from microphone or loudspeaker selection to designing networked audio systems for a corporate headquarters.

Peter James, SDUK managing director, commented: “We were delighted that the pilot AIE at our offices was received so warmly – the feedback was exceptional and attendees made it clear that the content was valuable to them. It makes perfect sense to take this same programme to other areas of the country and not just focus on the south-east and London. The programme is designed to give insight to new technology, provide product training and demonstrations, but most importantly let people get their hands on the gear. All forward-thinking audio professionals wanting to keep up to date on new technology products would do well to attend.”

Online registration is open now. Attendees will be entered into a draw to win a pair of Shure SE535 Sound Isolating Earphones (RRP £469.99).
