Launched by show organiser Rimini Fiera in collaboration with Connessioni magazine, the event attracted 312 trade members from Italy and elsewhere.
“The topic of innovation was the key aspect of the forum,” claimed general Mmanager Piero Venturelli. “Nowadays, this is a term that is often used wrongly and excessively, but is an indispensable aspect for those – such as us – that organise trade fairs and believe in the role of cultural growth and professional training they can play.”
The forum consisted of 17 specialised technical seminar sessions, with speakers including Jacob Christensen, Claus Lohse and Carol Zelkin (IMCCA). Among the topics were architectural lighting and digital signage systems but there was also a presentation of the integrated audio, video and lighting installations at Rimini’s forthcoming Palacongressi conference centre – the largest and most innovative in Italy. A product expo was held as part of the event.
SIB Forum was supported by InfoComm International, Integrated Systems Europe, IMCCA, CEDIA and NSCA, as well as CNA Installazioni e Impianti and CONFARTIGIANATO Rimini. AGS also cooperated in the creation of the event.
