InstallAwards winners: Residential category

Two companies shared the spoils in the Residential category (sponsored by Vicoustic) at the inaugural InstallAwards last night. Inspired Dwellings won the Best Project and Teamwork Awards for its Luxury Alpine Chalet project: a holiday home in the French Alps, built as a connected retreat for a London-based Michelin-starred chef and his family. As one judge commented, “What it takes from every part of an AV company to create a successful install is well illustrated here.”

Ricky Kundi of Kensington AV accepted the Star Product Award for the company’s use of the Crestron Sonnex Multiroom AV system in the Queens Court penthouse project. As well as delivering audiophile sound quality to every room, this system offers significantly reduced cabling, low power consumption, advanced DSP and integrator‐friendly set-up. It was deployed with Bowers & Wilkins ceiling speakers.
