The Residential category for this year’s InstallAwards covers installations in private houses as well as projects in multi-dwelling units.
Last year, the Best Project Award and Teamwork Award were won by Inspired Dwellings for their Luxury Alpine Chalet project. A holiday home in the French Alps, built as a connected retreat for a London-based Michelin-starred chef and his family.
The Star Product Award went to Kensington AV (accepted by Ricky Kundi, pictured) for their work on the Queens Court Penthouse, which featured the Crestron Sonnex Multiroom Audio System. As well as delivering audiophile sound quality to every room, this system offered significantly reduced cabling, low power consumption, advanced DSP and integrator-friendly set-up. It was deployed with Bowers & Wilkins ceiling speakers.
For the 2015 InstallAwards, projects from all six categories will compete for a single Team of the Year Award.
There is no fee to enter a project for the InstallAwards, and any company or individual can submit up to three entries – either in the same category or across multiple categories.
An entry form is available at www.installawards.com/nominations.
Nominations are open to any permanent or semi-permanent installation, anywhere in the world, handed over to the client between 1 March 2014 and 28 February 2015.
Tickets for the event are available now and cost £225 or £1,695 for a table of 10. Click here for more details or email jfarnan@nbmedia.com
