Nimans opens Techzone experience centre in Manchester

Midwich Group-owned UK technology distributor has launched a new location where channel partners can demonstrate AV, unified communications, networking and security solutions

Nimans, the UK technology distributor and part of the Midwich Group, has opened Techzone, a new technology experience centre at its Manchester headquarters designed to help channel partners demonstrate AV and connected workplace solutions to customers.

The facility combines interactive displays, video conferencing, audio, unified communications, networking and security technologies in a live demonstration environment. According to Nimans, partners can use Techzone to showcase integrated solutions, compare technologies and host customer meetings, with support from the distributor’s technical specialists throughout the sales process.

The centre currently features technology from ATEN, B-Tech, Hikvision, Jabra, Majority, Mitchell & Brown, NETGEAR, StarTech.com, ViewSonic and Yealink, with additional vendors expected to be added over time. Techzone also includes an 80-seat presentation suite for product launches, training sessions and partner events, alongside facilities for remote demonstrations via video conferencing.

Paul Burn, managing director at Nimans, said: “AV is most persuasive when customers can experience it working in a realistic environment. Techzone gives our partners a professional place to show that experience and explain the value behind the technology. It is not simply a showroom. It is a sales enablement resource where partners can bring customers, demonstrate complete solutions and draw on the expertise of our technology specialists.”

Burn added: “The boundaries between AV, video collaboration and the wider connected workplace continue to move closer together. Customers want systems that are simple to use and work as one experience. Techzone helps partners demonstrate that joined-up approach in practice. It gives them the space, technology and specialist support to have a stronger conversation and move from product selection to solution design.”
