Electro-Voice and Dynacord appoint FACE in Germany

Belgian distributor will handle MI retail and rental for both audio brands in Germany, while installed sound and public address remain with the existing sales team

Electro-Voice and Dynacord have appointed Belgian distributor FACE to handle their MI retail and rental business in Germany, with the new arrangement taking effect October 1. The existing sales team will continue to cover installed sound and public address.

FACE has represented Electro-Voice and Dynacord in the Benelux countries, Romania, Hungary and Moldova for several years. The company says German customers will gain access to its logistics infrastructure, customer portal and service operation, alongside its wider multi-brand portfolio.

Josef Penker, head of growth Europe at Electro-Voice and Dynacord, said: “FACE is one of our strongest distribution partners worldwide and has proven it can take our brands to the next level. The entire team has the expertise to serve our German customers at the highest level. For the MI retail and rental business, we see FACE as the ideal partner to build out these segments.”

The transition is intended to maintain availability of the Electro-Voice and Dynacord product ranges for existing customers. FACE will operate through its FACE PRO and FACE MI divisions, which cover professional audio, AV and MI products.

Karel De Piere, CEO of FACE, added: “We’re delighted to now represent Electro-Voice and Dynacord in the German market as well. Our shared mission is to build a long-term partnership that goes beyond traditional distribution, strengthening the position of Electro-Voice and Dynacord across Europe through innovation, market development and mutual trust.”

Thomas Hübner, division manager MI retail, and Stefan Stadler, brand & sales manager, are the new central contacts for Electro-Voice and Dynacord’s MI retail and rental customers in Germany.
