Electro-Voice has presented EVIDn, a new family of PoE+ networked loudspeakers for commercial installations, with a world premiere at Integrate Expo 2026 in Sydney, from September 2-4. Built on a shared internal PoE+ module architecture, the nine-model range spans ceiling, surface mount and pendant formats, with ceiling models available in standard and low-profile versions and the surface mount model rated IP65 for indoor and outdoor use. The line draws on Electro-Voice’s existing EVID loudspeaker portfolio alongside amplification and DSP expertise from sibling brand Dynacord.
Each EVIDn loudspeaker integrates amplification, DSP, signal protection and network audio transport, pre-tuned to match its equivalent passive EVID model, with dynamic EQ designed to maintain tonal balance as listening levels change. Because power, audio and data travel over a single network cable, the system is designed to deploy on existing structured cabling without requiring a dedicated amplifier room, with each loudspeaker individually addressable for tuning and monitoring in software. The range supports Dante and AES67 for compatibility with wider networked audio systems.
The line is built on open, industry-standard networking, with PoE+ (Class 4) delivering up to 30W to each loudspeaker and 802.1X compliance to meet enterprise network authentication requirements. The system is configured, monitored and managed through a browser-based web interface, without the need for separate software installation.
For installation, the SwiftLock mounting system is designed to allow one-person installation, alongside included tile rails, mounting rings, magnetic grilles and support for fully terminated Ethernet cables.
EVIDn ceiling and surface mount models will be available globally from early 2027, with pendant models to follow later in the year, backed by a three-year warranty.
